TL;DR
PROP TLDR: Goal is to use 12.5 ETH to run a web3 workshop with 100 Brazilian teenagers to onboard them, Nounify a local skate park, donate some of the funds to a local skate institute, and record the whole event. Run by Gnars DAO
Essentially unanimous support of this prop with high turnout
Only vote against is Will Price, who is supportive of the prop but suggests not having votes for small amounts (< 20 ETH) on chain
I think this passed pretty easily for a few reasons: ✓ Known Proposer ✓ Small amount ✓ Clear tangible impact. The only concern that could emerge is ROI; what is the “value” of exposing a skate park in Brazil to the Nouns brand & onboarding them to web3? I think some of the value is also philanthropic, which is less tangible
I’d agree with Will’s take that this might be better suited for avenues like Prop House or Small Grants in the future - having too many on-chain props asking for < 15 ETH reduces the amount of attention that can be given to larger props.
